Wellness and Physical Education
Our program will engage all students, K-12, in a variety of movement activities that are challenging and have purpose in developing confidence in overall physical abilities, social interactions while at the same time still building strength in personal emotional control, and regulation.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in typical activities such as volleyball, soccer or basketball along with other activities like indigenous games, ultimate frisbee, create a game or Tchoukball. All of which will focus on progressive specific concept development.
Within this framework of the program there are some opportunities for extensions to the program in junior high and high school, which include a Bloomsday trip to Spokane WA, a high school school overnight ski trip as well as a camping trip to Nordegg.
